These grilles are designed for raised access floor systems and come in three standard options — light duty, medium duty and heavy/extra-heavy duty to meet the structural loading classifications detailed in BS EN 13264:2001.
All models replace floor tiles and are suitable for supply- and return-air duties and incorporate features to ensure a smooth and unbroken floor finish and easy relocation if the office layout changes.
Other features of these grilles include brushed-aluminium finish. A black nylon coating and other colours, plus the option of a shadow-line finish are also available.
Model LDA is a light-duty grille which can be supplied with an optional opposed-blade damper. It is constructed from aluminium extrusions with a reinforced frame and is ideal for nearly all residential applications.
The MDA is designed for medium-duty applications and has a single-piece multi-blade mitred frame. Installation is simplified by the incorporation of a recessed-flange arrangement compatible with the raised-floor jacks using by flooring manufacturers.
Some applications, such as offices, require panel floor grilles with an integral overlapping flange to suit edge-seamed floors. Model F48 provides a solution. It is a medium/heavy-duty floor grille of heavy-gauge aluminium extrusions with a 48 mm-wide flange frame.
Heavy-duty requirements are met by Model HAD. Model HDA-R is supplied with an aluminium opposed-blade damper that can be adjusted through the grille core.
