Emergency luminaire uses fluorescent or LED lamps
Published:  August 2008

Geneva luminaires from SPEL are offered with fluorescent or LED light sources, with and without edge-lit exit sign.

SPEL Lighting & Fire Detection’s Geneva emergency lighting fitting is offered with a choice of 8 W fluorescent or LED light sources.

The fluorescent version can provide 3 h of emergency operation and is available as non-maintained and maintained versions. The LED Geneva comes as a maintained version only. The expected life of the LED is 50 000 h.

Geneva fittings can be specified as a slave luminaire for use on central-battery and static-inverter systems.

These recessed luminaires are made of steel with an epoxy-powder-coated or plated bezel and are suitable for prestigious retail, hospital or commercial applications.

Versions are available to include an optional edge-lit exit sign. This luminaire comes with a white bezel as standard, with the option of brass, chrome or silver-grey finishes.
