ABS secures £3.2 million City fit-out contract

Being refurbished to the BREEAM ‘very good’ standard with the help of fit-out specialist ABS London — Camomile Court in the City of London.
Fit-out specialist ABS London has won a £3.2 million contract to refurbish Camomile Court, an office building in the city of London. Work on the 7000 m2 building close to Bishopsgate and Liverpool Street Station is due for completion in January. ABS has 28 weeks to complete a Cat A installation and help the building achieve a BREEAM ‘very good’ rating. The work includes new plant, fan-coil and sprinkler installation to each floor. ABS is also responsible for upgrading the reception area and a complete upgrade to the core toilets. An existing atrium is being unfilled and will increase the net lettable area. The refurbished building will be back to the market at the beginning of 2009.
