CHP expertise wins low-carbon consultant of the year
Published: March 2009
The importance of combined heat and power (CHP) in delivering significant reductions in carbon emissions is demonstrated by two projects master-minded by the low-carbon consultant of the year, Andrew Gardner of CCL Consulting Ltd. He was responsible for the design of a (CHP) plant for Langford House, part of the University of Bristol, a design which is reducing carbon emissions by over 500 t in a full year. He was also designed a CHP system for a supermarket in Strabane in Northern Ireland, which will reduce carbon-dioxide emissions by over 80 t a year. Related articles: |
