Potterton Commercial launches ground-source heat-pump package

Potterton Commercial
An output of 21.3 kW and COP of 4.7 — Potterton Commercial’s GeoFlo ground-source heat pump.

Potterton Commercial’s GeoFlo ground-source heat pump for commercial applications draws heat from the ground at a depth of 1 to 2 m where the temperature is fairly steady at around 10 to 12°C. Upgraded heat is supplied at a higher temperate to water using a plate heat exchanger. The heat can be used for space heating or preheating cold water.

The output of GeoFlo heat pumps is 21.3 kW with a COP of 4.7. Operating noise is just 33 dB(A) at 1 m. Several units can be installed in cascade formation.

These heat pumps can be supplied with Potterton Paramount Two and Eurocondense Two condensing boilers. The total solution includes heat pump, pump station for the ground loop and optional 500 l buffer tank.
