Age Concern chooses MHI multi-split air conditioning

MHI

An Age Concern activities centre in Barking is now air conditioned using Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ mini-split systems. Birdsall Services installed two outdoor units with a cooling capacity of 28 kW to serve eight cassettes in the activities room and food hall of the centre in Vicarage Field shopping mall in Barking.

The £80 000 Health Concern project was funded by Barking & Dagenham Primary Care Trust and has a Health Café, rooms for activities, meetings and therapy, plus office space. Health trainers can give nutritional and fitness advice.

Ben DiSapia, Birdsall’s contracts manager, is enthusiastic about MHI products. He says, ‘MHI’s multi-splits are good kit. They do everything you want them to do, and they can’t be beaten for value for money.’

The equipment was supplied by FM Air Conditioning.
