BSS London-to-Paris run raises cash for Charity

Paris

A team of cyclists from BSS completed a 180 mile bike ride from London to Paris to raise over £17 000 in aid of Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity. The team of eight was led by Frank Elkins, managing director of BSS Industrial, and Gavin Stark, CEO of BSS Group.

The team set off from BSS Industrial in Chessington and arrived in Paris three days later, having suffered punctures and a delayed ferry.

Frank Elkins said, ‘Our team was made up of bike riders of all abilities, so this challenge was by no means a walk in the park. It was tough to keep motivated and to get going each day, but Rainbow Trust is such a worthy cause, we know we had to make it to the finishing line.’
