Shower limiter reduces drain on energy use
Published: May 2005
The economic and effective operation of showers can be achieved using an automatic flow limiter from Arrow Valves. These devices are designed to be fitted to a standard shower hose or head to save water and energy. Equi-Flow is also effective in multi-occupancy buildings, where it is designed to balance a system, thereby eliminating water starvation at peak times. When limiters are fitted to all floors of a building, the maximum flow from showers is the same, despite varying demand and supply pressures. They are available with flow rates of 0.1, 0.13 or 0.17 l/s. A version with a double-check valve to prevent backflow is also available. For more information on this story, click here:May 05, 84 |
