HRP offers heat-pump training

HRP, Heat pump

HRP has added heat-pump courses to its range of training options. These City & Guilds courses are Level 3 awards for qualified air-conditioning engineers, heating engineers and plumbers, installers and designers who want to build their businesses by expanding their expertise into the developing renewable industry.

There are two courses, both of three days, covering the non-refrigerant circuits of systems. One course covers installation, and the other covers installation and maintenance.

To provide the necessary practical experience, HRP has invested in purpose-built mobile rigs for air- and ground-source installations, so installers can take the course at the nearest of 17 HRP service centres.
