T-mac upgrades its energy-saving software

The latest upgrades to t-mac’s suite of software for energy metering, building management and energy analysis are intended to:

• help businesses manage and monitor their consumption in line with the Carbon Reduction Commitment;
• showcase automatic meter reading (AMR) data as part of corporate social responsibility;
• manage multiple-site control strategies through the mini-BMS program.

The ‘dashboards’ offer businesses an even more interactive and graphical interface to manage, review and amend energy-consumption and energy-reduction strategies.

Initial client trails of the new mini-BMS dashboard saved 12 h of engineering time by making it possible to change lighting control times across 2000 sites at the touch of a button.

The CRC dashboard will provide the ability to monitor carbon emissions against allowances purchased.

The AMR dashboard makes it possible to display and manage live metering data.

The mini-BMS dashboard provides increased functionality — such as the mass import of business addresses and business hours, configuration of one or many t-mac units to be linked to a site so site changes will automatically filter to the correct t-mac unit and define control strategies that can be applied to multiple sites.
