Closer control for underfloor heating
Published: June 2005
An electronic actuator to control warm-water underfloor heating by modulating the flow of water has been introduced by Even-Heat. Thermot-tronic units are located on the manifold, one for each loop of the underfloor heating system. The output signal from the room thermostat is converted into a constant, proportional adjustment of the actuator head to regulate the flow of water into the loop, and thus the room temperature. An integral 0 to 10 V converter controls the position-monitoring system. Related articles: |
