B&ES, low energy ventilation, energy recovery, TR35, TR 35

The Building & Engineering Services Association (B&ES) has published new guidance on low-energy ventilation for residential buildings in response to new requirements in the Building Regulations for energy efficiency and which now stipulate target emissions and CO2 rates for residential buildings.

TR35 covers installation requirements for a range of typical ventilation systems. It is aimed at professionals designing sustainable and environmentally friendly residential buildings. The guide explains commonly specified ventilation systems and strategies, together with the typical components that are needed. Centralised and decentralised systems are covered.
