BSS Industrial hits charity target
Published: March 2008
BSS Industrial has reached its £50 000 target with Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, helping families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness. Following this success, BSS has pledged to raise the same amount over the next 12 months. There were hundreds of fund-raising activities, and 35 families have benefited from a much-needed holiday at one of the charity’s two respite houses. Frank Elkins, managing director of BSS Industrial, says, ‘Rainbow Trust is our first charity partner, and to make such a difference to so many lives within a year is wonderful new. Everyone at BSS Industrial has done a great job, whether they hiked along the Length of Hadrian’s Wall, took part in “It’s a Knockout” or sold charity badges on the trade counter. We are committed to raising another £50 000 over the next year.’ Related articles: |
