Fan-convector heaters for condensing boilers
Published: February 2006
Biddle has enhanced the design of its Forceflow fan-convector heaters to operate with lower water temperatures — such as those delivered by condensing boilers. Although a traditional fan convector can work with flow/return temperatures of 60/40°C, the heat output is severely compromised. The Forceflow CB incorporates a heater battery/coil with much greater surface area than those traditionally used in fan convectors. This greater surface area increases heat transfer, enabling these heaters to deliver as much heat as a traditional fan convector working with water at 82/71°C. Forceflow CB is available in over 20 different styles (cased or recessed, vertical or horizontal) and five sizes. Maximum heat output is 17 kW with a noise level of NR35. |
