Tower Doors lights the way with Parkersell

New and more efficient lighting has been installed in the new factory of Tower Doors in Glasgow with interest-free finance from Loan Scotland, designed to support energy-saving investments. Parkersell managed the entire lighting programme — from the design through to the implementation and management stage. Obsolete 8 ft fluorescent strips were replaced with triphosphor colour 840 reflex batons. The older tubes are around 20% less efficient than other triphosphor tubes, incurring higher running costs. Their very high mercury content and bulky shape have also contributed to their demise. Related articles:
