AMEC has sold its building and facilities-services business (BFS) to SPIE SA for a cash consideration of £117 million.
In 2006, BFS generated revenues of £333 million, with a profit before interest, tax and intangible amortisation and exceptional items of £10 million. Gross assets were £56 million.
