Pressurisation units automatically maintain glycol concentration
Published:  April 2008
Pressurisation

Grundfos IMpress units can now also maintain the glycol concentration in a system.

Grundfos has added two new models to its IMpress range of pressurisation sets. These sets have intelligent micro-processor control.

The new units are available as single- and twin-pump variants and can also inject glycol into the system to maintain the required mix ratio.

IMpress Glycol and, in the case of IMpress H/C, offer the ability to pressurise both a hot and cold water system independently from a single system.

All models include multi-programmable alarms, timers, password access and on-board fault sensors. IMpress Advanced also offers features such as a history log, automatic pump test, remote pump-fault testing and a ‘service-due’ feature — as well as linking directly or remotely to the building-management system.
