Repair kit for rigid pipe
JG Speedfit has introduced a pipe-repair kit that provides a quick and easy method of replacing burst or damaged rigid pipe without altering existing pipework. The kits are available in 15 and 22 mm sizes and intended to help where no pipework movement is available.
The copper or plastic pipe is first prepared. The repair kit is then inserted and its length adjusted as necessary. Connections are secured by tightening the nut in the middle of the fitting and screw caps at the ends.
