Crane valves play key role in Chelmsford hospital

Crane valves

Valves, strainers and commissioning stations from Crane Fluid Systems have been specified for a new hospital wing at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford. Probalance commissioning valves, as well as a wide range of ball, butterfly and check valves, will be installed by Shepherd Engineering Services as part of the £14.2 million.

Valves will be placed in HVAC modules assembled offsite before installation in the hospital. They will control flow through heating and cooling water systems and enable commissioning and maintenance work to be carried out with minimum disruption to hospital staff and patients.
