Kentec helps protect national art treasures

Kentec, fire detection

Highly reliable fire detection for the National Portrait Gallery in London has been provided by upgrading to a system based on Kentec Syncro fire control panels. The NPL holds the most extensive collection of portraits in the world, from Holbein to Hockney. The collection includes work across all media, from painting and sculpture to photography and video.

The new fire system was engineered and installed by Stalleon Services. It includes a Kentec 8-loop Syncro control panel and Syncro Response repeater panels, with over 700 Apollo Series 90 and XP95 devices supported by Apollo’s open-protocol fire data communications.
