Dimplex launches air-to-water heat pumps for homes

Dimplex, heat pumps

Dimplex has launched a range of heat pumps to provide heating and hot water for homes. The LAB M range is available with outputs of 7.9 and 11 kW and can operate in outdoor temperatures as low as -15°C. Weather-compensated control of flow temperature maximises year-round efficiency.

Soft start enables these heat pumps to be used with a single-phase supply. They come with a 3-year warranty and include integrated circulating pump and expansion vessel to minimise installation costs.

Standard control packages developed by Dimplex provide for heating-only and heating and hot water.

The range is undergoing approval under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme, which will make it eligible for grant funding under the Low Carbon Buildings Programme. Further financial benefits include 7.5 p/kWh under the Renewable Heat Incentive due next year.
