Weatherite delivers fast-track AC for railway station

Just two weeks after quoting for the job Weatherite Building Services had completed the design and installation of an energy-efficient air-conditioning system for Stockport railway station. The contract was awarded by Dalkia Rail on behalf of Virgin Rail. The system comprises two Hitachi 2-way-blow cassettes linked to a Hitachi conditioning unit with a total cooling capacity of 25 kW. Weatherite also installed a new suspended ceiling in the ticket office area and a Thermoscreen recessed over-door heater.
