Using air curtains to increase air-conditioning efficiency

The energy required by an air-conditioning system can be reduced by installing air curtains or upgrading them to more efficient units, according to Dimplex. Air curtains are easy to retrofit in buildings where an air-conditioning system is already installed and can provide an effective method of reducing energy consumption for organisations affected by the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme. Air curtains are a relatively low-cost and effective way of increasing the efficiency of a whole air-conditioning installation, maintaining comfort and saving energy, reducing whole facility running costs and carbon emissions.
