VES introduces new range to extract polluted air

VES Andover, kitchen extract, air handling unit, AHU

VES Andover’s T-Line 120 is designed for extracting polluted air and is suitable for kitchen-hood, commercial and industrial processes. The motor is out of the airstream, making these units capable of constant operating temperatures of up to 120°C. They have a backward-curved impellor, so they can be cleaned without having to dismantle the fans. All units are fitted with isolators and have fast-change plug connectors for trouble-free maintenance.

The motor can be driven by an inverter so its speed can be controlled manually or automatically by a variety of methods — including a BMS. These units are compatible with the VES air-quality sensor.

The airflow can be commissioned at the unit using a micro-manometer; there is no need for a Pitot transverse in the ductwork.

Accessories include cleanable silencers, external cowls, mounting kits and inverter speed control. Units are available for mounting horizontally and vertically, indoors and outdoors. A full weatherproof housing is available.

All units have been tested to BS 848 Part 1.
