MHS Boilers, solar thermal, space heating, DHW
New boilers and solar-thermal equipment have been supplied by MHS Boilers for the Montpellier Chapter Hotel in Cheltenham.

MHS Boilers has supplied boilers and solar collectors to the historic Montpellier Chapter Hotel in Cheltenham to supply heating and hot water. The installation was part of the refurbishment of this Grade 2 listed building and the addition of crescent-shaped wing extension.

Equipment supplied by MHS Boilers includes five Ultramax WM 120 kW boilers, 18 m2 of Elco Auron DF evacuated-tube solar collectors and a twin-coil 1125 litre Inox-Maxi cylinder.

Auron DF direct-flow vacuum-tube solar collectors have been developed for DHW and heating support. Their mounting system makes installation and alignment towards the Sun simple. Tubes can be rotated through 60° to align the absorber plate so that an optimal angel to solar radiation can be achieved.
