Pick Everard awarded Leicestershire fire project

Pick Everard

This new £8 million headquarters building for Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Services is being designed by multi-disciplinary practice Pick Everard. The 3-storey building will be ready for occupation in January 2013 and will also provide overnight accommodation for up to seven firemen.

The new development will incorporate a range of low-energy and sustainable-design features — including air-source heat pumps, solar-thermal water heating, heat recovery and an energy-metering management system.
